WHY DOES MY CANDLE WAX HAVE AN UNEVEN TEXTURE AFTER I BURN IT?
This is natural - literally! Uneven textured candle tops are just a characteristic of the natural wax, soy. This does not affect the burn of your candle - just makes it more unique! All House on Elm candles are made from coconut soy wax, allowing for a clean and healthy burn.
WHY IS MY WOODEN WICK FLAME TOO SMALL AND/OR LARGE?
Wooden wicks are beautiful but they do require a little maintenance. It's important to trim your wick before each burn and you don't need fancy tools to do so. Before lighting, simply pinch the wooden wick with your fingers allowing the extra burned wood to break off. It should easily break off, if not - don't force it.
IF I PROVIDE A VESSEL, COULD YOU MAKE ME A CUSTOM CANDLE?
I don't take any custom orders as of now. Each candle vessel sold currently meets certain requirements that have been tested for a proper candle burn.
